 Iranian regime said Tuesday that a man had been stoned to death in a village in northwestern Iran.

"This case has been recently executed in the village that was mentioned," regime’s judiciary spokesman Alireza Jamshidi told reporters about the stoning of Jafar Kiani in a village in Qazvin province.


"The verdict was implemented because it was definitive," Jamshidi said.

In June, according to the official Fars news agency Iranian regime’s judiciary had claimed that the stoning in Qazvin province had been halted.


The Iranian regime judiciary had up until now vehemently denied any stoning since 2002, although the news received from Iran revealed that such verdicts have been carried out.


Under the punishment of stoning that is carried out by the Iranian regime, a male convict is buried up to his waist with his hands tied behind his back, while a female offender is buried up to her neck with her hands also buried.
