🇺🇲Vietnam War Stories: Honoring the Heroes We Lost: Anthony Michael Cusumano of New York


Today we honor Lance Corporal Anthony Michael Cusumano, of New York City New York, who served with the Company K, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force. Anthony was fatally wounded on February 1, 1969 in the Quang Ngai province of South Vietnam. He was 20 years old.


A recipient of the Purple Heart, Lance Corporal Cusumano is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC on Panel 33W, Line 30. Anthony lies in rest at the Long Island National Cemetery in New York. Lest We Forget.
