🇺🇲Vietnam War Stories: Honoring the Heroes We Lost: Dick Hooten Christensen of Utah

Today we honor Private First Class Dick Hooten Christensen, of Moab Utah, who served with the 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry, B Company. Dick was fatally wounded on October 5, 1968 in the Binh Long province of South Vietnam. He was 22 years old.

A recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with OLC and the Purple Heart Private First Class Christensen is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC on Panel 41W, Line 14. Dick lies in rest at Hole 'n the Rock Cemetery in Monticello Utah. Lest We Forget.
